While the word nepotism carries a bad connotation for some people, we feel quite the opposite here at Custom Logos. In fact, we have built a business and had great success utilizing nepotism in our business for the past 29 years. Custom Logos was started by two childhood best friends and went on to successfully hire husbands, wives, cousins, in laws and even twin sisters who work here today. But one of our favorite stories features Laz, his wife Veronica, and their daughter Itzel, The First Family of Screenprinting pictured above. With over 20 years of industry experience, Laz joined Custom Logos as an automatic screenprint machine operator in the spring of 2014. Within a short period of time Laz was promoted to oversee our second shift and brought in his wife Veronica as a screenprint technician. The following year their daughter Itzel joined the team and today their family is instrumental in running the second shift and insuring quality control. Originally hailing from Mexico City, we are thrilled to have The First Family of Screenprinting contributing to the success of our company here in San Diego.
